I'm an independent consultant that helps organizations participate in electronic health information exchange... through business and systems analysis, data analysis, project leadership and product management.

I'm experienced with NCPDP, HL7/FHIR and X12 data exchange standards, and also help clients with internal systems to enable new opportunities. I really enjoy working closely with business folks and developers to envision and create new solutions.

I participate in national standards-setting activities and have provided expertise to state and federal EHR certification and rulemaking processes. I'm an active member of NCPDP and HL7, currently co-leading the NCPDP Patient Consent task group and participating in HL7 working groups. I've authored a published HL7 FHIR implementation guide and have FHIR R4 proficiency certification
